Rob and Tracy Butcher the managers of the Gardeners Arms are passionate about people and service. Together they have created a pub that captures the original feel of the Gardeners Arms whilst incorporating modern and contemporary themes that will appeal to broad spectrum of customers. Inside you will find influences from Gardeners Arms past in 60’s, 70’s and 80’s along with modern influences bringing it all into 2010.

The interior look of the Gardeners Arms mirrors the philosophy that Rob and Tracey are building “we are looking forward to opening the doors to The Gardeners Arms, a place where you can enjoy quality food and drinks at reasonable prices, with a laid back and friendly atmosphere for all our customers, old and new” here

The Gardeners Arms open plan layout will feature four sections. The Pot-In shed will contain a pool table, dart board and touch screen games machines. A relaxed dinning and drinking area with tables and chairs were customers can enjoy a bite to eat a drink and a chat with friends. The lounge area next to the fireplace will have comfortable sofas for relaxing with a big screen TV for live sports broadcasting throughout the year. Of course then we have the bar itself where In keeping with the tradition of the Gardeners Arms, Rob insisted upon a real cast ale being served.

Tracey Butcher, the Gardeners Arms cook is pleased to be serving up a selection of burgers, basket meals and little nibbles. The range of burgers includes a traditional plain and cheeseburger a Mexican and breakfast burger along with a selection of chicken burgers. Basket meals will feature scampi, sausage and chicken all served with chips. Traditional specials like a delicious homemade Sheppard’s Pie and Lasagna will also be available. The ever-popular traditional Sunday carvery will be continuing. Wherever possible meals will be served fresh to order with all meat sourced locally from town butcher WT Parish.
